The Broker - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
